Welcome to Foundation for Health and Social Economic Development Africa - HESED Africa website.
Hesed Africa is a Non – Profit Organization registered in Kenya with National Coordination Bureau, Certificate No. OP.218/051/2007/0268/4738 issued on 27th September 2007 and began its operations, from its headquarters in Nairobi, on October 2007.
The organization was started to address problems facing mainly children, women and youth in the context of health, economic and social empowerment while integrating cross cutting issues such as HIV and AIDS, human rights, peace building and gender.
The organization is eligible to receive foreign grants & volunteers. It was started by a team of Kenya based medical Doctor, Social scientist, an agriculturalist and enterprise development administration persons who came together to register and support the organization.
We started by offering mobile health clinics to settlements and rural areas using own resources. We then fundraised and have since conducted a nummer of mobile medical outreach interventions in various parts of kenya with partners.
